1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Fits and Tolerances app for iOS, iPadOS and Android, provided by NDF. The app is a technical reference tool for hole, shaft and fit tolerances.
2. Data processed on your device
Nominal sizes and tolerance parameters are processed on your device. The app locally stores up to 10 recent basic-tolerance lookups and 10 recent fit lookups. These lookups do not require a user account, and the developer does not directly receive the contents of this local history.
Local history remains until it is replaced by newer results or you delete the app. You can remove this locally stored data by deleting the app.
3. Advertising and third-party services
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising and Google User Messaging Platform to collect and manage privacy consent choices where required by regional law.
Depending on your region, device settings and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process:
- Device or advertising identifiers.
- IP address and network information.
- Device and operating-system information.
- Advertising interaction data.
- Diagnostics, performance and fraud-prevention data.
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address, where applicable.
These categories are not necessarily collected in every case. Their processing is controlled by Google and its partners under their own terms and policies.
4. Your privacy choices
Where applicable, the app displays a consent form provided by Google User Messaging Platform. When the system makes the option available, you can reopen privacy choices from the app’s Settings. You may also manage tracking permission in iOS Settings if a tracking request is used.
Declining personalized advertising does not disable the app’s core lookup and calculation functions.
6. Retention and deletion
Local lookup history is retained until it is replaced by newer results or the app is deleted. Data processed by Google is subject to Google’s retention policies. You can contact us with privacy questions, but NDF cannot promise to delete data controlled directly by Google; please use Google’s controls and policies linked above.
7. Children, security and changes
Children
The app is a technical tool and is not designed to be directed toward children.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the app and related information. No method of storage, processing or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, software development kits or legal requirements change. The latest update date appears at the top of this page. Material changes should also be reflected in the app’s App Store privacy disclosures before the corresponding version is released.
