Thread Profiles support

Thread dimensions, profiles and tolerance limits on iOS and Android.

Email contact@ndfamily.net. To report a problem, include your app version, device model, thread family, nominal size, pitch, tolerance class and whether you selected an internal or external thread. A screenshot can help; remove confidential information first.

Look up a thread

Choose the thread family, internal or external side, nominal size, pitch or threads per inch, and an available tolerance class. A single available option is selected automatically. The drawing shows nominal dimensions with the applicable deviations or one-sided limits; the table lists the available minimum and maximum dimensions.

Units and language

Switch between mm and inch beside the result or in Settings. The drawing geometry stays the same. Change the interface language inside Settings; 18 languages are available. Thread designations retain their standard notation.

Unlock all thread families

Metric threads and their available tolerances are free. Pipe, unified inch and trapezoidal threads are unlocked by one in-app purchase. The US base price is US$4.99; your store displays the local price and applicable taxes before purchase. There is no subscription. The purchase unlocks the same app automatically after verification; you do not need a second app. Banner ads remain after unlocking.

Restore a purchase

Use Restore purchases in Settings while signed in to the same Apple or Google store account that made the purchase. An internet connection is needed for purchase verification. Purchases are restored within the same platform; an Apple purchase does not transfer to Google Play or vice versa. Pending purchases unlock after the store approves them. Refunds are handled by the store where you purchased.

History and data

Saved lookups and preferences are stored on your device. You can delete saved entries in History. The app shows the standard and edition used for each lookup; use those labels when checking a result against your drawing requirements.
